This information will be direct for caregiver because the first stage in a long-care is very crucial. If you are succesful to find good resources; it'll be easier for everyone. Remember, the goal is to help the person to become independent as much as possible and to adjust to new life.
Okay, these are my suggestions! I hope it helps.
When you seek services, be sure to:
• Shop around as widely as possible.
• Ask about accreditation and licensing of agencies or
individuals who work as consultants.
• Be clear about who pays for the services. Will you pay out
of your own funds or will Medicare/Medicaid or insurance cover
it?
• Fill out a checklist with all the information before you
make any calls, so that the information is at your fingertips.
