How do you deal with it when your invis dis causes you to be
(unintentionally) rude?
For instance, I know some disabilities affect impulse control or cause
people to not pick up social cues. Being on either siIde of this can
be uncomfortable.
As the "offender," you can unknowingly be really hurtful to people or
make others feel uncomfortable or even unsafe. You might be trying to
be friendly or funny, but it comes out creepy. You have to partcipate
in life, and yet you are messing things up left and right despite lots
of effort.
As the "offendee/offended," you are not the one being a jerk; you're
the one who is getting violated.
