ding to the actual statistic, “without a college education, individuals with disabilities face a staggering 43 percent unemployment rate; with a college education, their unemployment rate is only 7.2 percent.” The main reality is that is a crisis that it needs to be addressed and the problem is arising by the minute because more people will become disabled; as results of the wars, unknown diseases, natural’s disasters, and more.
I applied for an internship working opportunity by the Citigroup. The requirements are: to worked 135 hours with a small entrepreneur, write a business report, go to class once a week. My expectations are to learn how to overcome any physical barriers and to create strategies for a smoothly transition into the workforce.
By the end of my semester, I will be able to proof that everything is possible as much as you put your mind to it. I also know, how difficult will be because my physical disability is several but my task is to find solutions.
